About Us

George and Karen Bean have been active in full time ministry for over 20 years. Their ministry, Nation To Nation, was incorporated in 1979. Following graduation in 1980 from Ministerial Training they joined Pastor Bob Yandian on the staff of Grace Fellowship in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Together, George & Karen developed the areas of Pastoral Care & Outreach. George served as Associate Pastor/Director of Pastoral Care while Karen served as Director of Outreach and Missions. They developed the home groups, benevolence, ministry to the sick, mission teams, and a number of other areas of the church which all continue today. They were regular instructors in the School of the Local Church, a ministry for those entering full time ministry as well as at other Bible Schools and ministry training centers.

In 1981 they published, What Saith Thou, A Guide to Believer's Words, Terms, & Expressions. Karen is in the process of completing several books at this time. Topics range from Adapting to Culture and Customs in Another Land to Apostleship Today. They have also produced several manuals to complement their seminars.

After 10 years on staff at Grace Fellowship, the Beans were called to serve and assist ministers around the world. Throughout their years of service, George and Karen have ministered in many states in the USA and in over 35 nations.

The Bean's ministry has taken them to such diverse areas as Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Eastern Bloc countries. They have the privilege of ministering in Christian, Atheistic, Moslem, Animist, Hindu and Buddhist societies. Wherever they go their ministry has been well received.

In keeping with their heart to assist other ministries, the Beans founded and oversaw a service agency handling the business needs of up to 33 other missionaries in 1988. They directed this portion of NTN until they turned it over to Mike Allen and sister ministry Nation to Nation International where they continue on the Board of Advisors. George and Karen's primary vision is to prepare effective ministers and to encourage them wherever they are. Nation To Nation is known as a ministry of integrity, grace and love. They have helped in all kinds of situations and types of work. They are qualified teachers while doing the work of an evangelist. George and Karen are skilled with teams, either taking people into a nation or acting as hosts. They are gifted at preparing others for ministry and teaching to make disciples in all nations.
